Q:I’ve tried everything to get rid of the blackheads on my nose!
It looks disgusting. I went to the doctor and got a medicine called Clindamycin and it doesn’t work! Should I go back and ask for something stronger?
A:Get the really scrubby St. Ives and then what you do is put really really warm water on your face until you feel a little hot… and that opens your pores.. and then you take the St. Ives and scrub your face with it very good… after that you get the water hot again and rinse your face… once finished, splash really cold water on your face to close your pores.. and keep doing it until your face feels cold. Then pat dry. Keep doing this and you will see differences soooo fast.
A:Yeah, the strips work, but the best brand to go with is biore’!! The clearasil ones dont really pull the blackheads out all that well.
A:If you’re already using a cleanser at least once a day I would recommend blot napkins. Clean&Clear makes a good one… you just whip out a sheet and “blot” your sensitive areas (making sure to keep your dirty fingers off your skin) 3-5 times a day (5 times if it’s very hot). It wipes up all the excess oil that builds in those area.
Also I would recommend a liquid foundation with a powder top. It hides blackheads very well, which are quite difficult to get rid of, even with a strict facial regime.
A:Since like you said you just hit puberty, it could just be oily skin form the hormones. that;s what happened to me when i was your age. try to leave it alone or put toothpaste on it. they might even just go away.
A:Exfoliate twice a week, and use a clay based mask striaght after! Ensure that you cleanse twice a day, and when you cleanse in the evening make sure you do it twice and really work the cleanser into the skin around the nose area!
Use a lgiht moisturiser deisgned for combination skin.
My boyfriend gets really bad balckheads around the nose. YOu see a massive difference when he takes time out to really look after his skin!
A:Try black head removing strips, you wet them place them over the are & when it dry rip it of & the blackheads come away with the strip. Blackheads are simply blocked pores and sometimes cant be avoided no matter how good a skin cleansing routine u have. Heavy moisturisers can cause them. DONT USE SOAP, use soap free & exfoliating facial washes.
A:I forgot what it was called but it’s these pads that you get wet and stick to your nose and they harden like a cast type thing and you leave it on until it gets hard and then remove it and after about 1 week or 2 they should be cleared.
